I was reading an article by Greey Fraley a staff writer for the Dallas Morning News. In this article (WR Williams to use visor..)he goes over the Dallas vs Green Bay game. As I read it I began to laugh. I thought the day of excuses were over, especially for grown men. Now don’t get me wrong I am an all out Dallas Cowboys fan but when a grown man gets hit in the face, and says he didn’t see it coming I just have to laugh. Ok, ok, ok, maybe I am not being realistic. "That [visor] is really bright, you can see the lights in my vision. That ball hit me dead in the face. Roy said” so yea I can kind of take the visor as an excuse, there are a lot of lights that could have blinded him, putting him in the position that he couldn’t see the ball enough said. But then he say in another article that if the lights weren’t there I would of caught the ball. Ummm, can someone please tell me a time in a night game when the lights aren’t there? Didn’t think you could. Should of just stuck with the visor excuse.
My bigger problem is figuring out what excuse he has for fumbling away a 42 yard gain. Let me guess your visor was in the way or better yet the lights, that’s it the lights made you lose the ball in your hands. I’m sorry but I’m getting tired of Roy Williams, yes he took accountability for the drop and fumble, but accountability does nothing for me when the Cowboys lose the game. I’m sure he’s just covering himself form the Dallas media. I know one thing, this Roy Williams guy has to be making thing easier for Tony Romo. All the attention of him onto Roy, means the Cowboys will have a December to Remember! (I mean that in a good way)
